Large originals

These large-scale paintings are statement works - paintings designed to transform a space, hold a wall, and carry a room. At their most expansive they have been created at over five metres wide for museum and commercial installation.

The large originals available here range from substantial domestic canvases to works suitable for hospitality, corporate and public settings.

At this scale, my technique comes fully into its own: the poured natural inks and earth paints develop complex layering, the surface has a physical presence that photographs cannot capture, and the works reward the sustained attention that a large painting demands.

Many of the pieces in the large originals collection have been placed in or acquired by hotels, corporate settings and heritage organisations. Prices range from around £2,000 to £12,000 and above. Commission enquiries for bespoke large-scale works are always welcome.
