Zacry's On The Sea Wall at Watergate Bay Hotel
'Wave II' is one of three pieces acquired by Watergate Bay Hotel for the refurbishment of Zacry's restaurant. They were selected to create focal points in the sea-facing venue that has been beautifully designed by Dynargh Design with natural materials and fabrics and a clean, minimal style.
The striking blues and flashes of yellow in this painting bring the elements of the beach into the room, sitting beautifully adjacent to the reflections in the glass doorways and mirroring the outside.
Founder & Executive Director Will Ashworth explains: "In November 2023 we were looking for some striking, original artwork for our new restaurant at Watergate Bay. Through our research we found Natalie’s large format series of paintings. We quickly realised these would be perfect as they are both dramatic, Cornish influenced and as a series, they tie our restaurant space together perfectly.
Better still, Natalie has become a friend of the business. She has been brilliant in helping us tell our guests the story of how she creates her paints and the inspiration she takes from the Cornish landscapes and seascapes."

'This Land' at Royal Cornwall Museum
This stunning venue was the perfect showcase for my largest pieces and really illustrated how they can look in clean open spaces. From the long thin panorama of 'Botallack' (back wall of image, 5.4 x 0.8 metres) which would add drama above dining tables or bench seats, to the vertical drop of 'A Million Stories To Tell' (right wall of image 2.3 x 1.5 metres) which was purchased for an open stairwell) these would elevate rooms with their rich layers and visual interest.
Bryony Robins, creative director at the Royal Cornwall Museum, says: “We are delighted to exhibit Natalie’s work at Royal Cornwall Museum. Not only is the work of exceptional quality, it speaks directly to the things that are important to the museum - about this unique land we call Cornwall, the very earth and minerals beneath our feet, our heritage landscape and the imagination and ingenuity that fuels Cornish creativity. It is an absolute privilege to show such exceptional work by an artist from Cornwall.”
A number of the key pieces were purchased by Lisarb Energy for their Barnstaple headquarters and will hang in their offices, boardroom and stairwell creating a truly unique and bespoke environment that reflects their values.
Jamie MacDonald-Murray, chair of Lisarb Energy - the corporate sponsor of the exhibition - said: “Born in the South West myself, I was drawn to Natalie’s journey and her connection with the same natural environment in which I grew up, and in which I founded Lisarb. Natalie’s work echoes Lisarb’s own ethos. We harness the power of rugged land and seascapes with respect, while better understanding the cultural and commercial relationship between the earth below and our activities above.”
'Topophilia' at Bude Castle and Heritage Centre
This was an excellent opportunity to showcase larger scale works in a smaller venue. The paintings, selected from the collection 'This Land', created a sense of drama in the more 'standard' sized room without overpowering it.
Artwork this size (2.8 x 1.5 metres) would look stunning in larger offices, boardrooms and reception areas.
