The Moors - First Investigations

Painted during the first lockdown in 2020 when I was unable to return to my homeland, I turned to my memories and photographs of the moors and began a period of exploration and investigation.

This collection was the beginning of what has become an ongoing fascination with the history of Bodmin Moor, the ancient and more modern material culture and the myth and legend that still runs deep.
