'Botallack - preliminary sketch II'
*** This painting is on consignment to a venue in Paisley, Scotland. Please contact me if you are interested in purchasing.***
Developed from studies of the West Penwith abandoned mines, this series investigates the co-existence of long abandoned industrial structures and the advance of nature as she reclaims and rewilds the area.
'Botallack - Preliminary Sketch II' is an original painting, acrylic, charcoal and infused with paint made from the landscape - materials gathered during visits, ground and made into paint back in the studio.
The overall size of the painting is 369cm x 54cm on paper. This piece would look striking mounted behind unframed clear perspex with industrial style fixings and would add drama to any room. For additional impact, pair it with Preliminary Sketch I and really make a statement!
Mixed media on paper..
Original painting, unframed. This will be shipped rolled in a tube to enable you to frame to your preference.
Signed on the reverse with certificate of authenticity.
