Small originals

These small original paintings are an ideal entry point for new collectors, or for adding another piece to an existing collection. They carry exactly the same material depth and place-based authenticity as my larger canvases - the same layered process, the same direct connection to the Cornish landscape and, for later work, the same hand-gathered earth pigments - in a format that suits smaller spaces and more modest budgets.

Many of my small originals are produced as direct studies from the landscape: rapid, concentrated responses to a specific place or moment that capture something a larger, more worked canvas cannot.
