'Landscape Mashup' is an unapologetically dark painting exploring the coasts and moors of the Cornish landscape and reflecting on the darker side of their history. Not just a summer tourist destination, Cornwall has a long history of shipwrecks and smuggling, deep underground mining dangers, folklore ritual and sacrifice. This is at the heart of our land, the reality of the people who have been before, and this painting acknowledges that history - but always with the light of hope and a brighter future.
