'Sacred Landscapes' is an original mixed media painting - charcoal, hand made natural earth pigment paint and ink, oil paint, wax crayon and cyanotype on paper.

The natural materials for the paint have been gathered from the local area and further afield, processed by hand and left in a fairly coarse state to add texture.

Paintings containing these natural materials literally have the land that inspired them in the artwork, bringing a real sense of the landscape into the work. They inform the choice of colour palette to ensure an authentic feel and connection to the subject.

The painting is 265cm wide and 207cm tall and will be supplied rolled in a tube.
