A quiet, design-led crop from the Moors collection, inspired by Bodmin Moor’s abandoned airfield and its lingering geometry. Deep blues and weathered earth tones hold a sense of stillness - like light settling over runways after the last departure.

The Moorland Studies are a new luxury framed canvas print collection drawn from Natalie Day’s Moors paintings, inspired by the rock stacks and abandoned airfield on Bodmin Moor. Each image is a carefully chosen crop that distils the landscape into bold, contemporary forms - runways and parking pans reduced to quiet geometry; weather, mineral colour and time held in layered marks.

Printed as a high-quality framed canvas editions, these works bring the atmosphere of the moor into the home: grounded, spacious and quietly powerful, designed to be collected as a set or enjoyed as a single statement piece.

Framing options:

White float frame
Our white float frame is a timeless, gallery-style choice. Your canvas is carefully stretched over a wooden frame and then fitted into a float frame with a narrow 5mm space around the edge, so the artwork appears to sit independently within the frame. This creates a soft shadow detail that beautifully defines the work and elevates the overall presentation.

Oak float frame
For a gallery-style presentation with added warmth, choose the oak float frame. It pairs especially well with natural materials and wood finishes, bringing a calm, grounded feel to your interior. The canvas is stretched over a wooden stretcher and fitted into the frame with a narrow 5mm reveal, so the artwork appears to sit independently within the frame. A soft shadow detail forms between canvas and frame, giving the work extra depth and definition.

Black float frame
For maximum impact, choose the black float frame. It brings a strong, modern edge and pairs beautifully with darker accents and clean-lined interiors. Your canvas is stretched over a wooden stretcher and set into the frame with a narrow 5mm reveal, so the artwork appears to sit independently within the frame. The resulting shadow detail between canvas and frame adds depth and a crisp, gallery-style finish.
